This is really a catch-all page as positional feedback devices come in numerous guises but they all have one common objective which is providing accurate information to the control circuitry.

Although listed here as shaft encoders, resolvers and tachometers are frequently used and all three types of feedback methods have the same common problems. Mechanical wear and tear is obvious and if worn bearings need replacing then they will be. Often though, faults occur in the built-in electronic circuits and this can be tested and repaired within our facility.
